A written warranty on our rebuilds

How our warranty works

Every transmission rebuild from Transpecialists of Hickory comes with a written warranty. Coverage depends on the unit and the type of build, and longer coverage is available on qualifying rebuilds. We go over the exact time and mileage terms for your transmission before work starts. They’re printed on your paperwork, so you’re never relying on memory.

If something doesn’t feel right

1. Call the shop right away at (828) 855-3444. Don’t keep driving it if it’s slipping or leaking.
2. Bring it in so we can test it and find out what’s going on.
3. Have your paperwork handy. The invoice lists what was installed and your coverage.

What keeps a warranty valid

• Contact us first with any warranty concern, before another shop opens the unit.
• Follow the fluid and service guidance we give you, especially if you tow or haul.
• Coverage applies to the work we performed. It doesn’t cover damage from accidents, overheating from other systems, or modifications.
